In the year 2000 – 2001 School of Fashion Technology, Pune initiated the 3 – year bachelor’s degree curriculum with S.N.D.T. Women's University, an internationally recognized university with five-star N.A.A.C. accreditation that certifies the degree as equivalent to those offered by international degree-granting institutions.
The SOFT – SNDT degree – “B.Sc. Fashion Apparel Design, which is recognized by leading designers, industrialists and experts in related academics, many of whom serve as consultants, the on going dialog continues to give student’s interaction with industry professional in the field.
